Thou hast inquired about divine Revelation. The holy Imams were the dawning-places of inspiration and manifested the bounty of the All-Merciful. Divine Revelation was confined to Mubammad, the Messenger of God. Thus, we do not refer to the words of the Imams as the Word of God, but we regard them as divinely inspired
