Question:
Master, the day before yesterday you taught us that the ancient heathen teaching of Aristotle is as follows: “The perceptible world exists as object of the divine will and recognition from eternity; at all times this world is in God, namely is eternal as He Himself.” All the founders of religion, from Zoroaster and Buddha down to the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh teach, however, that God has created the world, or, that He has emanated it, that is, let it flow out of Himself, from which derives that God is eternal, the world however temporal.... Highly honored Master, do you have time today to explain to us these, as we would like to assume, only seeming contradictions?
