Provisional translation

One of the loved ones of God wrote a letter to Ḥájí Muḥammad Karím Khán, in which he posed a number of questions...For twelve years We tarried in Baghdád. Much as We desired that a large gathering of divines and fair-minded men be convened

Abstract:

Sharply rebuts accusations, made by the leader of the Shaykhí school, of grammatical discrepancies in the writings of the Báb, asserting that divine revelation is not constrained by man-made rules, citing in support several examples from the Qur’an and challenging him with Bahá’u’lláh’s own prophetic claim.
